When Jesus calls us to “take up our cross and follow him,” it can be difficult to know what it really looks like to respond. That’s a daunting call, and we sometimes hear that Christ going to the cross is to keep us from that experience. How can we take Jesus seriously, strive towards faithfulness and live out the values of the cross in our regular lives?
