Tips for Care:

Regularly water to encourage root bulb swelling. Water approximately 1” a week, less when it rains.

Harvesting:

Onions can be harvested at any stage; thinned seedlings can be used as green onions. Bulbs, however, are mature when at least half the top leaves have collapsed and the bulb skin feels papery. Dig the bulbs up, do not pull. Trim the leaves and roots.
